State Folkstyle in Great Falls Must have AAU Card, Birth Certificate and $10. We will reimburse you Monday after State.
AAU Folkstyle State is this weekend in Great Falls! Your wrestler needs an AAU card to participate this weekend. The age groups are the same as USAW, but some of the weights are different. To confirm weights you may go to www.mtaau.com and they have a age/weight chart there.
Missoula was unable to get a gym for there tournament next week, however, The Dillon Wrestling Club is hosting a folkstyle tournament on Sunday, March 21 to keep everybody rocking and rolling into the Montana Open the next weekend. Watch for tournament details to follow next week!
- Sunday, March 21 - Dillon (Fokstyle) NOTE change from Saturday to Sunday and Missoula to Dillon
- Saturday & Sunday, March 27 & 28 Billings Montana Open (Folkstyle). You advance to Sunday.
- Saturday, April 3 in Butte Smith McCarthy (Freestyle)
- Saturday, April 10 Helena (Freestyle) / Sunday, April 11 Helena (Greco)
- Saturday, April 17 Billings (Freestyle)
- Saturday, April 24 (State Freestyle) & Sunday, April 25 (State Greco) in Butte
Join EHWC
To join the East Helena Wrestling Club, fill out the REGISTRATION and MEDICAL RELEASE forms. Cost is $75 per wrestler, which includes USAW Card, insurance, t-shirt and tournament entry fees (EXCLUDING Montana AAU State & Montana Open).
Practice is held at the Eastgate School Gym (park in back) on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, from January to the end of April.
We are always looking for volunteers. If you would like to participate, coach or referee, please contact us. All help is greatly appreciated.
